Every driveway starts with proper preparation. We remove the old concrete if needed, grade the area correctly, and compact a solid base. Skipping these steps leads to cracks and settling—problems we've seen plenty of from other contractors.
We pour at least 4 inches thick for residential driveways, more for areas that will see heavy vehicles. Control joints are cut in the right places to manage cracking. The surface gets a broom finish for traction unless you want something decorative.
A properly installed concrete driveway lasts 25-30 years, often longer. The key is in the preparation and the pour. Cheap shortcuts show up as cracks within the first few years. We do it right the first time so you're not calling us back for repairs.
After we pour, stay off it for at least 24 hours. Wait a full week before driving on it. The concrete reaches full strength at 28 days, but it's usable well before that. We'll give you specific care instructions when we finish your project.
